Speech and Language

Speech, language and communication skills play a key role in a child's readiness and ability to achieve their educational potential. At Warren Wood staff have received training so they can identify signs of speech, language and communication needs so appropriate support can be put in place early. We use teaching assisstants to support the delivery of individual plans, after a child has been assessed by the local authority Speech Therapist.
